Five set for Sweden – U20s team announced

A further three Scots have been added to Team GB for the Euro U20s in Sweden next week.

Mhairi Hendry (800m – pictured), Kathryn Gillespie (1500m), and Kelsey Stewart (4×400) are now set to join previously-announced Jack Lawrie (400mH) and Josh Kerr (1500m) in Eskilstuna from 16 to 19 July.

The selected athletes are no strangers to one another – in fact all are members of the scottishathletics National Academy, a fact recognised by Kesley Stewart as she Tweeted after the announcement: “Delighted to be selected for the 4x400m for GB at the Euro Under 20 Champs! Good to have @scotathletics National Academy athletes joining me.”
